Steve Gornto

Steve Gornto is the Vice President of Sales at Kowa Pharmaceuticals America and joined the company in November 2020. He leads both the Field Sales Team and Sales Operations, bringing over 35 years of diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Throughout his career, Steve has worked across mid-tier, start-up, and service provider organizations. He began his journey in R&D at Solvay Pharmaceuticals before expanding into Sales Operations, Sales, Field Sales Leadership, Marketing, Alliance Management, Trade, and Sample Compliance/Accountability. He has held key roles at Solvay, Noven, Syneos, Mission Pharmacal, and Kowa, contributing to multiple product launches across therapeutic areas such as women’s health, gastroenterology, psychiatry, urology, pediatrics, dermatology, and cardiology.

Steve earned his degree in mathematics and statistics from the University of West Florida. A Florida native, he has a deep appreciation for the water, with stand-up paddleboarding as his favorite pastime. He is married, with two children, and enjoys traveling with family and friends—always on the lookout for the next great craft brewery.
